¢Ã On December 13, 2019, the Supreme Court of Korea and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-hosted a briefing session at the Supreme Court on the new “Certificate of Family Relations in English” at the grand conference room of the Supreme Court for the diplomatic corps in Korea.
¡Û More than 100 diplomatic representatives from 80-plus countries, including three Ambassadors to Korea attended the session which proceeded with an opening remark by Justice CHO Jae Youn, Minister of National Court Administration, and a congratulatory speech by Mr. LEE Sang Jin, Deputy Minister for Overseas Koreans and Consular Affairs. The briefing session was followed by a Q and A session.

¢Ã Minister Cho stressed in his remarks that “ an active cooperation from the diplomatic corps is essential to enhance wide usage and credibility of the new English certificate of family relations”.

¢Ã Deputy Minister Lee spoke about e-Apostille along with the English certificate and asked the diplomatic corps for their support so that “online official documents issued by the government of Korea can be accepted and acknowledged in each country”.
